Protecting Life and Truth: Transgender Kids, Abortion, and the JFK Files – A Catholic Perspective

Join us for a live discussion of current events through the lens of Catholic faith. In this episode, we cover:

  • The Ohio court decision allowing transgender procedures on children to continue, despite legislative efforts to protect minors, raising urgent questions about safeguarding the innocence and dignity of youth.

  • President Trump’s executive order to abolish the Department of Education, potentially empowering parents as the primary educators of their children—a role emphasized by Catholic teaching.

  • The declassification of records concerning the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and what this means for the pursuit of truth and justice, values central to our faith.

  • A Catholic bishop’s strong condemnation of Oregon’s “Abortion Provider Appreciation Day,” a stark reminder of the Church’s unwavering defense of the sanctity of life.

  • The renewed call to defund Planned Parenthood following disturbing allegations of harvesting aborted body parts, spotlighting the commodification of human life that Catholics must oppose.

  • The safe return of NASA astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore after being stranded on the International Space Station for nine months, a testament to human resilience and the wonder of God’s creation.
